How can I find pet owners in my area?
I want to distribute coupons and promotional items for my pet care business to pet owners (especially dog owners) in my area. However, it would be a lot more efficient if I knew where to find them. I know there are people who could benefit from pet care who don’t necessarily look where I have previously advertised (online, fliers, business cards, etc.) Ideally I would like to get a list of individual’s who have registered their dogs with the town but I doubt that this is possible. Are there any other ways that I can reach pet owners who aren’t actively in the market for pet care? I’d like them to at least know that my business exists. I’ve been advertising on Craigslist for over a year, as well as local bulletin boards, pet stores, veterinary offices and grooming offices. I’m trying to find out if there’s any way I can target people who aren’t already looking- people who look at classified ads and bulletin boards are already looking.
Dog parks, pet stores, fliers, ads in the paper, etc.
New York City is the fashion mecca for designers, but not just for humans, now it’s gone to the dogs. It’s a catwalk of a different sort for these fashionista dogs. It’s a huge display of pet fashions and it’s one sure way to be the cat’s meow without being feline. The fashions are the ultimate in canine couture where they feature everything from the Park Avenue Pooch to the junkyard dog. And, bling they have. Many top designers are getting into the business. Why shouldn’t they as the dog business is barking up the right tree as a 36 billion dollar industry.. making it top dog over the toy and candy business. What’s in – “mommy and me” collections – where humans are dressing in matching attire with their dogs. Sheryl, the DogSexpert also talks with designers about how their fashions influence relationships between humans and pooch. See it on Leashes and Lovers TV. www.LeashesandLovers.com/TV
