Email “Consulting”
By Doug Bertram • Nov 9th, 2007 • Category: General BusinessBecause of this blog and the multiple physical and informational products that I market I get requests for “consulting/coaching/mentoring” engagements all the time, but I have not been able to develop a system to handle these requests - adding the value needed to help you take your businesses to the next level, while also achieving my 4 hour work week goals.
I was reviewing one of my online ‘mentors’ site this morning check out his site at: James Brausch and he is offering to answer any questions about how he does business or how he maintains a great family life by focusing on the important few items while selectively ignoring the rest - so I though this would be a perfect opportunity to get James’s feed back on this topic.
James here is my question: I have a client list of petrepreneurs very eager to get personal coaching and assistance and I would like to offer them a service similar to your magic email program - what is your system of marketing to your clients to join your program and to effectively (while managing your own time) maintaining your obligations (when you respond, lag time in responses, etc) to your coaching clients.
Having a coach or mentor can explode your success - even the most accomplished have them, get your own now.

We are interested in getting started in the dog bakery business–Here in the state of Ga., our Dept of Ag. requires labeling with % of protein, % of fat, moisture content, etc.–Do your recipes contain this info or do we send the “treats” off to a state lab for analysis–Any advice is appreciated–Thanks–JIM
Great questions - we are currently in the process of updating the Pet Bakery Resource guide to include all the new requirements (by state) the regulating agencies now require due to the pet food catastophies of the past several months.
Jim, I’m starting an ecommerce business for Pet Jewelry. I’m right now making the samples, then will do the website … while I wait for my Name and a Line to be Registered for (TM). I can’t seem to find a good business model for this type of business. Perhaps, you can assist. I think my product is quite unique in terms of what I have seen out in cyberspace. They will be customed one of a kind.
Any insight or suggestions would be greatly, appreciated.
Thanks.
