Questions & Post Suggestions

Hello fellow petrepreneurs and blog readers … I get a lot of emails asking questions about certain pet related business start-up topics … as well as suggestions for posts. These are greatly appreciated (both by myself and by the other readers with the same questions), but I simply am not able to keep up with these questions and suggestion as they pour in via email.
So, I humbly ask that you submit your questions and suggestions for post topics here, in the comments section below.
I cannot promise an answer … in fact, in many cases, I won’t be able to answer all your questions. However, I will read this every day, and I will use some of these questions for future post topics … I promise!

Hey Doug,
Just wanted to stop by your site and thank you again for your guidance. I am almost up to $2,500 a month, just a bit more and I will be saying good by to my job…
Anyway thanks again,
MS
I just received this great question via e-mail that I am sure other international petrepreneurs have…

I run an organisation in the U.K. that takes dogs into hospitals, senior homes etc. so that people can pat them and talk to them etc. May I ask please, do you think Bake a Dog a Bone or Pet Report Profits or Pet Blogging would work here in the UK? I live in London and we have a lot of very wealthy pet owners. Thank you.

I have several customers and coaching clients from the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Canada (among others) that have use the information in these reports to develop some nice income streams. BUT, the key determinant of success is what exactly is your passion within the pet industry.
Both Pet Report Profits and Pet Blogging Profits are resources that will help you start profitable online businesses – which is perfect if you love pets but don’t want to be ‘hands on’ all the time.
Bake-A-Dog-A-Bone is a great ‘hands on’ opportunity to provide healthy, good for them, treats to the dogs in your community – this has much more daily interaction with all sorts of pets.
Based on your email I think you would have a HUGE market for writing a special report that would show other pet lovers how to spread the theraputic benefits of dogs into the locations you work with. This could easily be a very significant income stream (4 figures a month) with a little upfront work and some promotion.
GREAT QUESTIONS… KEEP THEM COMING…

Also, what about these new “designer” dogs? I hate the idea but just rescue a poodle/shizu mix I fell in love with. What do you think about designer dog niches also.? (we used to call them “mutts” in the old days

As for the designer dog niche, I think it has the opportunity to be huge. People who purchase a designer dog (your right I have a Cockerszu) – when we got her 18 years ago she was a pound hound – now I am sure there are thousands or more dog lovers looking for specific info for this “new” breed.
If you do the keyword research you will see what designer breeds info is being looked for:
example: a search of “dog breeds” at NicheBot (my keyword tool of choice at the moment) shows almost 6,000 searches per day for dog breeds and almost 300 for designer dogs NOT including several hundred more for “different dog breeds” “hypoallergenic dog breeds” etc. all which can be targeted as a broad niche and then narrowed down to very detailed information.
